Chicago Public Schools (www.cps.edu) is the third largest school district in the United States. Our mission is to ensure that every child is on track to graduate prepared for success in college, work, and life.

The mission of the National Association of Urban Debate League (www.urbandebate.org) is to facilitate participation in organized debate activities for as many urban students as possible. The NAUDL works to build, strengthen, expand, and connect urban programs across the country primarily based on a model that partners the city school district with a local Urban Debate League (UDL) Advisory Board that includes: training, conferences, debate materials, and the national championship.

Public Allies (www.publicallies.org) mission is to advance new leadership to strengthen communities, nonprofits, and civic participation. They are changing the face and practice of leadership in communities across the country by demonstrating the conviction that everyone can lead, and that lasting social change results when citizens of all backgrounds step up, take responsibility, and work together.
